I started powerlifting one day a week about three months ago when I was getting bored and wanted to change up my training. I had an interest in more weight training and wanted to change my body composition along with isolated training during the rest of the week and knew that the compound lifts would do that.
I had seen that Matty was providing drop in classes for beginners and decided to give it a go.
I love the fact that the gym is not all about competing and the classes are run by Matty so you are getting the best start to powerlifting. Needless to say week by week the changes you see in your body and your strength it becomes addictive.
The workouts destroy you but in a good way and my calories in wholesome foods have gone up as your constantly burning even after a day or two post training. I would highly recommend Matty and his gym to anyone.
