1. Eat enough calories/ make good food choices. Eating enough healthy foods will have a massive impact on your recovery. Favour quality foods like steak and rice rather than a load of high calorie junk foods⠀


2. Get adequate sleep: we recover when we sleep so without enough of it we are denying ourselves the chance to recover properly ⠀


3. Follow your program/ avoid overtraining: strength is built over a number of weeks or months, training harder than you are supposed to will only take away from your next training session
